'Art In Academics' gives Jammu students opportunity to showcase talents

Under the flagship of Jammu sahodaya, Jammu Sanskriti School Kathua organised this virtual event where 30 CBSE affiliated schools of the Jammu region participated in this Art Competition. `Art in Academics` is a noble approach to education blended with artful innovations and creativity. It is a process in which art becomes the medium to learn and to teach.

This event provides students an opportunity to exhibit both their unique potential and knowledge. Mili R Sumbria, Principal Jammu Sanskriti School Kathua welcomed all the esteemed guests virtually. 

This event was witnessed by intellectuals and eminent people across the state. Mukesh Singh IPS, IGP Jammu was the Chief Guest and Shailendra Mishra IPS, SSP Kathua, was the Guest of Honour.

All the dynamic students of class 4th and 5th showcased their exuberant talent and creativity. The amalgamation of art into academics was a unique theme chosen by Jammu Sanskriti School Kathua. The topics that were given to paint the canvas were science topics such as Pollution, Conservation of Biodiversity, Soil Conservation and Rainwater is a boon- better harvest than regret.

The event was inaugurated with a lamp lighting ceremony to seek the blessings of almighty followed by the beautiful, balance of mind, body and soul - a spiritual Yoga performance.

A medley of Dogri folklore was also sung by students of Jammu Sanskriti School Kathua to showcase the richness of our Dogri culture.
