Canadian operator Telus reported stronger revenues for the fourth quarter but profit figures remained lower, hit by the effects of the continuing coronavirus pandemic, coupled with declines in wireline legacy voice and data services, plus higher costs, including support for business acquisitions. These effects were partly offset by the company's cost efficiency programmes, higher wireline data service margins, expanded services and subscriber based growth and an increased contributions from Telus International. The company said it will keep its quarterly dividend, raised in the previous
