35 year-old man arrests for murder of 80 year-old woman

Kolhapur, Feb 10 (UNI) Within a few hours after incident, Local Crime Branch (LCB) police team became successful to arrest a 35 year-old man, who decamped with golden the ornaments after ruthlessly murdered a 80 year-old woman, which incident occured today at Pachgaon, close to the city.
In a press release, some citizens found a dead body in a bag in Rajaram tank in Rajarampuri area, they informed this to Rajarampuri police. Later LCB police, who took the investigation, detained a bankrupt man on suspicious, who identified as Santosh Nivruti Parit(35), resident of Takala area of the city.
In investigation, suspected accused confessed of this ruthless act, who murdered woman identified as Shantabai Sharmrao Shake(80), resident at Pachgaon, by sharp weapons and pieces in several parts of the body and through in Rajaram tank with putting half body in bag and decamped with her golden ornaments.
Police investigating further.
