Deutsche Bank AG has hired Martin Nosek as head of financial institutions group for Australia, according to a memo obtained by Bloomberg News.

Nosek, who was most recently with Nomura Holdings Inc., will lead the German lender’s investment banking services for financial institutions in Australia, according to the memo. A representative for Deutsche Bank declined to comment.

Nosek is rejoining Deutsche Bank after an earlier 14-year stint at the lender between 2005 and 2019 in Australia and London where he was a managing director in the financial institutions group. At Nomura, he was the head of financial institutions coverage for Australia and co-head of financial institutions group for Asia Pacific.
