Child hurt after car crashes into Perth Children’s Hospital entrance

A child has been injured after a car crashed into the entrance of Perth Children’s Hospital on Thursday morning.

The crash happened about 8:30pm on Wednesday evening when a red Hyundai SUV smashed through the glass panels near the main entrance of the hospital.

A child inside the car was seriously injured while the driver, a 64-year-old man was also hurt, 6PR reported.

Both remain in hospital. It’s believed the man may have suffered a medical episode prior to the crash.

Police have started an investigation into the crash.
