A glacial burst in Uttarakhand’s Chamoli district triggered an avalanche and massive flooding, which reportedly killed many and at dozens are still missing. Now, singer Jubin Nautiyal has come forward to help the people badly affected by the disaster with his next digital concert. After Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s call for the Youth of India to stand with the people of Chamoli, the actor shared a poster of the concert on social media while informing that the concert will take place on February 14. Captioning the same, Jubin wrote, 'Inspired by the clarion call of Hon. PM @narendramodi for #YouthOfIndia to stand with the people of Chamoli in Uttrakhand join me live in the digital concert to raise funds for the families affected by the devastating glaciers on 14Feb @gaana n all my SM accounts #JubinForChamoli.' During the massive flooding, the Rishiganga Power Project was damaged and a deluge in the Alaknanda river system washed away hydroelectric stations, trapping more than 100 labourers, who are feared dead. However, the rescue operation to save the people is still underway. Meanwhile, Jubin was voted as the top Hindi artiste of 2020 on various music streaming platforms. In a conversation with Bombay Times, the singer was asked about his reaction to the kind of love and kindness his fans and followers have been showering upon him, to which, he said, 'My bigger game plan was always to be the top artist in the heart of people and that probably made me artist of the year on multiple music streaming platforms. I feel nothing less than blessed and I genuinely feel that this is purely the love of my fans, blessings of my parents and the almighty. It feels great when people love your work, it inspires one to be better and 2021 is the year all my fans are in for a big fat musical treat. I am excited.'
