BMTC employees to protest today, services won’t be hit

Close on the heels of a four-day transport strike in December, BMTC employees will hold a demonstration in front of the corporation’s headquarters at Shantinagar bus terminus on Wednesday. However, bus services won’t be affected. A section of transport unions, including CITU, has decided to stage a protest at 1pm and submit a memorandum to BMTC officials on various demands.
