Telstra restarts workforce reduction, axes more than 1,400 jobs

Telstra has restarted job cuts after a year-long suspension due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The operator notified 1,425 employees that their time with the company will soon come to an end, AFR reports. This new round of job cuts was announced to staff via a company-wide email on 3 February. Affected workers were in talks with management officials by the afternoon.
