Three persons, including a woman who had taken lift in a car, were killed when the vehicle plunged into a canal in Telangana's Warangal Rural district on Wednesday, police said. The car with four occupants plunged into SRSP canal at Kankapaka village. While the three were washed away, the fourth was rescued by locals (IANS)
Covid count drops in majority of Telangana districts
The declining trend in Covid infections continued in Telangana with the daily count in majority of the districts falling to one or two cases. Of the total 33 districts, no cases were registered in four districts during the last 24 hours. Three districts reported only a case each while six districts reported two cases each. Greater Hyderabad continues to report the maximum number of cases. During the last 24 hours the state capital saw 27 new cases. Medchal Malkajgiri and Rangareddy districts were the other two districts to log new cases in double digits at 11 and 10 respectively.
157 new coronavirus cases, 1 death in Telangana
Telangana recorded 157 fresh Covid-19 cases, taking the total positives to nearly 2.96 lakh while one related fatality pushed the toll to 1,613. Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) accounted for the most number of cases with 27, followed by Medchal Malkajgiri and Rangareddy with 11 and 10 respectively, a government bulletin said on Wednesday providing details as of 8 pm on February 9.
Sharmila’s Telangana plans her own, Jagan not party to it: YSRCP

1 out of 4 in Telangana has had Covid, reveals NIN’s 3rd sero survey
The National Institute of Nutrition (NIN), which works under the aegis of Indian Council of Medical Research, said that one in every four persons in Telangana has had Covid-19 but probably was not aware due to being asymptomatic.
