Agriculture supervisor trapped in ACB net

Nanded, Feb 10 (UNI) An agriculture supervisor was arrested by the Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) while allegedly accepting a bribe of Rs 5,000 from a complainant in Dharmabad tehsil of the district, on Tuesday.
The alleged accused, Deepak Hanwate, who was working as agriculture supervisor at Tehsil Agriculture office in Dharmbad, had demanded Rs 5,000 as bribe from the complainant to grant government subsidy on purchasing drip irrigation sets, sources in ACB said.
However, the complainant lodged a complaint with the city unit of ACB, whose team laid a trap in the premises of a motorcycle showroom on Tuesday and caught red-handed Hanwate with the bribe money.
