Seventeen Walmarts and one Sam’s Club in Utah will begin administering COVID-19 vaccines on Friday, according to the company. But you’ll need to meet the state’s eligibility requirements and make an appointment online.
Under current state guidelines, residents ages 70 and over are eligible.
The 18 locations will have a limited supply of coronavirus vaccines, and will not be open to walk-in patients. To check availability and schedule an appointment, go to walmart.com/COVIDvaccine or samsclub.com/covid.
The Walmart stores that will begin inoculations on Friday are in American Fork, Cedar City, Ephraim, Logan, North Logan, Orem, Perry, Price, Richfield, Riverdale, Salt Lake City, South Jordan, Spanish Fork, Taylorsville, Vernal, Washington City and West Jordan. The one Sam’s Club location is in Logan.

Smith’s Food and Drug will also begin administering COVID-19 vaccines this week at 40 of its locations across Utah, although the company has not released a list of locations yet.
Residents 70 and older can go to smithsfoodanddrug.com/i/coronavirus-update/vaccine to check if locations near them have appointments available.
