IPL 2021 Squad Updates: Check full Squad of all 8 IPL teams, IPL Salary, Remaining purse and available slot ahead of IPL 2021 auctions- The 14th season of the cash-rich league IPL will be played from 11th April this year. Ahead of the tournament, a mini-IPL auction will take place in Chennai on February 18 to buy released players by all the eight franchises of the Indian Premier League. It will be interesting to see who manages to get the maximum bid in the mini-auction.

IPL 2021 auction player list: Joe Root, Mitchel Starc to miss auction, Arjun Tendulkar and Sreesanth enroll; Check full list: England skipper Joe Root, who scored a century on his 100th Test on first Test against India, is all set to miss the IPL 2021 auction. The Indian Premier League released a list of players who will be a part of the auction pool on February 18 in Chennai. A total of 1097 players have registered to the auction but Root will not be part of the IPL 2021 auction.

The IPL Player Registration closed on 4th February, 2021 with 814 Indian and 283 overseas players signing up to be a part of the IPL 2021 Player Auction. The Auction will begin from 3PM onwards.

CSK now have a purse of Rs 22.9 cr. CSK have decided to retain its core team of MS Dhoni, Suresh Raina, and Ravindra Jadeja. IPL 2021: Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) – Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) retain 12 members of their IPL 2020 squad and the likes of Aaron Finch and Moeen Ali have been released from the squad. The likes of Virat Kohli, Ab de Villiers and Yuzvendra Chahal will be seen for RCB this season. While, key performers of last season like Devdutt Padikkal and Mohammed Siraj have also been retained. IPL 2021: Mumbai Indian (MI): Defending champions Mumbai Indians have released as many as seven names which include Sri Lankan great Lasith Malinga, Kiwi quick Mitchell McClenaghan, Australian Nathan Coulter-Nile and his countryman James Pattinson, their Guyanese all-rounder Sherfane Rutherford, uncapped leg-spinner Prince Balwant Rai and fast bowler Digvijay Deshmukh from the team for the upcoming edition of the Indian Premier League.

IPL 2021:  Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH): Ahead of the upcoming mini-auction for the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2021 season, SunRisers Hyderabad on Wednesday retained most of its players from the 2020 squad and only five players have been released. No big names have been let go and only players like Fabien Allen and Billy Stanlake have been shown the door ahead of the upcoming season.
