Chinese smartphone manufacturer OPPO has cut a deal with Australian behemoth Harvey Norman to stock its devices across the country.

In a statement, OPPO Australia's managing director Michael Tran said the company had opted for Harvey Normal due to the strong local growth of the smartphone's brand and also to give customers a better chance of buying a device.

"It's exciting to see OPPO continuing to expand here in Australia and we're proud to be working with such an established local retailer like Harvey Norman," said Tran.

"Everything we do is customer driven and our partnership with Harvey Norman will help us get into the hands of more Aussies nationwide, which is very important in building our brand."

As a way of marking the launch, OPPO said it would offer a "gift with purchase" deal for all its stock sold by Harvey Norman.

Each device will be bundled with OPPO Enco W11 True Wireless Earphones. The W11 has 8mm dynamic drivers with titanium-plated composite diaphragms, Bluetooth 5.0, and active noise cancellation.

The OPPO A15 (RRP $239) and A53 (RRP $299), both recently released in Australia, will also be available for purchase through Harvey Norman stores from Wednesday.
