BJP has developed enmity with public interest works: Akhilesh

Lucknow, Feb 9 (UNI) Samajwadi Party (SP) president Akhilesh Yadav on Tuesday said that the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) government has developed enmity with public interest works.
In a statement, Mr Yadav said that the BJP probably thinks that if a government can be formed by giving bluffs and can be run for four years, what is the need to work? The BJP seems to have decided that no development should take place even by mistake, which is the reason it cannot count even a single remarkable work.
The SP president alleged that the BJP has given the biggest deception to the farmers. After making false pretense of debt waiver, now it has started making excuses to recover the amount given in the Kisan Samman Nidhi. Hundreds of troubled Bundelkhand farmers have died of suicide due to BJP's anti-peasant policies.
The SP leader averred that the farmers have been agitating to take back the three agricultural laws and the demand of making MSP a law at the Ghazipur border but the BJP is bent on not accepting their demands.
The former UP CM said that the condition of Kanpur's Smart City is also despicable. There are potholes on roads in the name of smart city and people get injured after falling into them. The public will answer to this BJP fraud in 2022.

UP cabinet approves caste based reservation in panchayat polls

Lucknow, Feb 9 (UNI) Uttar Pradesh cabinet on Tuesday approved the proposal for the caste based reservation of seats for three tier panchyat institutions.

The follow up government order for the reservation will be issued in next two days and the process of reservation has to be completed before March 17. The cabinet meeting was held by circulation, officials here on Tuesday confirmed.
