Sensex up over 200 pts

Sensex up over 200 pts

Mumbai, Feb 9 (UNI) The BSE Sensex on Tuesday remained high as it advanced by 251 points to reach at 51,600.30, a life time high on strong global peers.

The Nifty too moved up by 87.70 points to 15,203.50.

The Sensex registered the intra days high and low at 51,618.20 and 51,377.70 points respectively.

The Nifty registered the days high and low at 15,205.90 and 15,133.80 respectively.

In 30 scrips 21 advanced while 9 declined.

The gainers were Asian Paints by 2.90 per cent to reach Rs 2487.80, ONGC by 2.56 per cent to reach Rs 102.15, Titan by 2.34 per cent to reach Rs 1577.05, Infosys by 1.39 per cent to reach Rs 1322.45 and Reliance industries by 1.28 per cent to reach Rs 1976.50.

The losers were M & M by 1.91 per cent to reach Rs 910.50, Bajaj Auto by 0.96 per cent to reach Rs 4173.15 and HDFC by 0.50 per cent to reach Rs 2721.85.
