PANCHKULA: Residents from various sectors have reported mischievous teenagers who run away after ringing doorbells in the wee hours and of whom a CCTV cameras caught four outside a house.
The footage shows pillon riders getting off two scooters and running towards the houses to ring the doorbells between 6 and 7am, and scooting before someone comes out. Residents said: “It is the first time a camera recorded it, othewise it’s a routine in some of the sectors.” A few residents took the footage to police, asking the cops to identify the teenagers and call their parents to the the police station for a warning.”
Citizen Welfare Association (CWA) presidnet S K Nayar said: “The teenagers’ prank is big harassment for the residents. They must be made example of before others start following them.”
