Kanyakumari police recover 112 missing mobile phones, return them to owners

MADURAI: The Kanyakumari district police have traced 112 missing mobile phones and returned them to owners.
On Tuesday, district superintendent of police V Badri Narayanan handed over the phones to the owners. He appreciated the cyber team that traced the phones.
According to the district police, the phones were either stolen or lost by their owners in the last few months.
A cyber team led by sub-inspector Mohammed Samseer and Shenbaga Priya traced the phones and recovered them. The worth of the phones was around Rs 10 lakh.
A total of 375 mobile phones had been traced and recovered in the last one year, a police officer said.
