We already broke down The Weeknd's Super Bowl performance from the viewer's perspective, but now we get to see what it was like from an insider.

Social media user @its.zugo gave fans a glimpse of the behind-the-scenes action at the Super Bowl halftime show on Sunday where he was one of The Weeknd's dancers.

The Weeknd wowed the crowd, performing a medley of some of his biggest hits so far. The singer was joined by an army of dancers dressed up like his After Hours character with red jackets and bandages on their faces.

In a short clip, Zugo is seen on a bus with the other dancers being escorted to the stadium by police. He later shows footage of The Weeknd walking close by.

In an Instagram Live video after the show, Zugo explains how he was asked to be part of the halftime performance and speaks about getting close to The Weeknd.

"Yeah, I actually got footage of him, he smiled at me," he says excitedly to someone on the other end of the video chat.
