The prices were on par with RRR for the satellite rights as the team planned to sell the rights as a bouquet (Telugu, Tamil, and Hindi versions). The channel clearly said all versions of Acharya except telugu do not matter and so, the deal is not viable. With the rejection, the makers have reduced 40% of their earlier quote. We will have to see which Channel will bag the rights now. On the other side, Acharya's Worldwide telugu theatrical business is likely to fetch around 145 Crore.


This is massive and is a record other than Pan-India projects. The movie is being readied for May 13th release as Summer Special. The film directed by koratala siva also marks the Reunion of mani sharma and chiranjeevi after several years. Kajal Agarwal is romancing chiranjeevi in the film. This is her second with chiranjeevi after khaidi No 150. The recently released first look teaser of the film doubled the hype and expectations on the movie.
