Man nabbed for making hoax bomb call in Hyderabad

HYDERABAD: A person was taken into custody by RGI airport police on Monday for allegedly making hoax calls, threatening to blow up a popular sports facility near the airport.
The store got the hoax call three days back. The caller demanded Rs 1 crore and said that he will blow up the facility if not paid on time.
Police immediately reached the spot and took anti-sabbotage measures. No bomb was found in the area.
Based on the telephone number of the caller, cops took a man into custody and are questioning him. It is learnt that the accused was in drunken state when he made the phone call.
