Rupee recovers 7 paise against USD

Mumbai, Feb 9 (UNI) The Rupee on Tuesday recovered by seven paise to close positive at 72.89 against the US Dollar on fresh selling of US Dollar by bankers and exporters, dealers at the Forex Market said.
The local unit opened higher by ten paise to 72.86.
During the day it was slightly fell from opening level and settled at 72.89, up by seven paise as compared to its last close.
The rupee registered intra days high and low at 72.93 and 72.83 respectively, he added.
