Six LPG cylinders exploded when the delivery vehicle, which was parked at an open ground near Shivar Garden, caught fire at around 2.30am.
A 25-year-old local resident, who was at the blast site, received minor injuries and was given first aid, Thane civic body's regional disaster management cell chief Santosh Kadam said.
The vehicle was parked on a private land owned by a Shiv Sena corporator. The space has been rented out for parking of vehicles, including LPG-filled trucks.
Around six cylinders exploded and there were two more trucks with LPG cylinders parked at the same ground, Mira Bhayander Municipal Corporation (MBMC) fire brigade official said.
