Uttarakhand glacier burst: Kareena Kapoor Khan, Shahid Kapoor, Sara Ali Khan, AR Rahman, Alaya F pray for the victims

A glacial burst in Uttarakhand’s Chamoli district triggered an avalanche and massive flooding, which reportedly killed many and left atleast 170 people missing. As soon as the tragic news hit the internet, many Bollywood celebrities such as Shraddha Kapoor, Dia Mirza, Bhumi Pednekar, Sonu Sood among others offered prayers for those affected by the natural calamity. Now, joining them, are Kareena Kapoor Khan, Sara Ali Khan, Oscar-winning music composer AR Rahman, who penned down thoughtful messages for the safety and well being of the victims. Kareena took to her Instagram story and wrote, 'Sending prayers for the safety and well being of those affected by the terrible tragedy unfolding in #Uttarakhand', whereas, Sara wrote 'Praying for the safety of the people of Chamoli. Hope those stranded or missing are rescued and brought home safe soon. Strength to them and to the rescue teams to cope with this disturbing tragedy #Uttarakhand'.
