Another streaming service is here. Kind of.

Paramount Plus, the new streaming service from CBS parent company Viacom VIAC, +1.18%, is launching on March 4. It’s a rebranding of CBS All Access, and it ran several ads during Sunday’s Super Bowl featuring a cast of characters whose content will be featured on the service, including Patrick Stewart, Dora the Explorer, Stephen Colbert and SpongeBob SquarePants.

Paramount Plus will be absorbing the CBS All Access service, while adding new content from Comedy Central, Nickelodeon and Paramount movies.

The official price for Paramount Plus has not been formally announced, but streamers can purchase CBS All Access for $5.99 a month with ads and $9.99 a month ad-free, which will carry over when the new service launches in March, according to the Paramount website.

CBS All Access was trending during Sunday’s Super Bowl as it suffered an embarrassing outage, crashing just before the game started.

When subscribers tried to watch the game, they received an error message reading: “Uh oh. An error has occurred, but we’re working on fixing it. We’ll be up and running again shortly!”
