New Delhi, Feb 8 (UNI) BJP Member Locket Chatterjee on Monday alleged in the Lok Sabha that the West Bengal government was drawing political benefits by renaming the schemes of the Centre.
'If the Trinamool Congress wants to do politics, it should do with BJP, why it is doing with the farmers and the poor,' she said, while speaking during the discussion in the House on Motion of Thanks on the President's address.
The BJP member said the government, led by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, made allocation to West Bengal for medical college, AIIMS, development of tea plantation and workers' job card.
She accused the West Bengal government of doing politics on vaccines against COVID-19.
Participating in the debate, BJP member Virendra Kumar said the Parliamentary Home Affairs Committee and the Health Ministry Committee appreciated the efforts of the Government in handling of COVID-19, even though its Chairman was a member of the Opposition.
The BJP Member also discussed the labour reform laws in detail and said that this will increase the trust of foreign investors in India and also increase social security for workers.
He said the workers also contribute to the progress of India.
The BJP member termed the 'Vocal for Local' the foundation of self-reliant India.
