Domestic benchmark index NSE Nifty was trading 177.05 points up at 15101.3, while the BSE Sensex was trading 609.86 points up at 51341.49.
On the other hand, SKF India, Bajaj Electricals, Graphite India, Gujarat Gas and NCC stocks hit their fresh 52-week high today.
In the Nifty 50 index, M&M, Hindalco Inds., GAIL, and Axis Bank were among the top gainers on the NSE. However, Industries, Divi's Labs, , Hind. Unilever and SBI Life were among the top losers.
