Thalapathy Vijay and Vijay Sethupathi starrer Master, which released during the Pongal weekend, has turned out to be a box office winner with the earnings of over Rs 200 crore at the global market. While the film is now streaming on Amazon Prime Video, the OTT platform recently released a deleted scene, which speaks about the molestation in the country. While fans expressed their disappointment that why this scene was not included in the film, singer Chinmayi Sripada reacted to the scene with praises and wrote on Twitter, "So glad the director wrote this scene. Someday the survivor will no longer be blamed for sexual harassment. Until then we wait. And keep speaking up despite Vairamuthus and Radha Ravis and MJ Akbars of the world. While the film has garnered praises from the audience, the recent news suggested that the film will be remade in Hindi as the Kabir Singh producer, Murad Khetani has reportedly bought the rights of the Lokesh Kanagaraj directorial. As per the PinkVilla report, a source said, “Around two weeks back, Murad along with the team of Endemol visited Chennai for a special screening of Master, after coordinating with the producers of Tamil original. They loved the film and decided to bankroll it in Hindi. This meeting led to paperwork and the producers now officially have the Hindi remake rights under their kitty. The source added, “Like Tamil, Murad and co are planning to cast two top stars from Bollywood for the Hindi remake as well. However, they will start approaching the actors on having a director on board. Be assured, this will be among the biggest casting coups in recent times.” Produced under the banner of XB Films, the film also stars Malavika Mohanan, Arjun Das, Andrea Jeremiah and Shanthanu Bhagyaraj.
