ભૂટાનના પ્રધાનમંત્રીએ દૂર્ઘટનામાં માર્યા ગયેલા લોકોના આત્માની શાંતિની પ્રાર્થના કરી છે. સાથે જ કુદરતી આફત સામે લડનારા લોકો માટે સાહસની કામના કરી છે.

ચમોલી જિલ્લાના પ્રભારી મંત્રી અને રાજ્ય ઉચ્ચ શિક્ષણ મંત્રી ડૉ.ધનસિંહ રાવત શ્રીનગર પહોંચ્યા. તે કેન્દ્રીય માનવ સંશાધન વિકાસ મંત્રી ડૉ. રમેશ પોખરિયાલ નિશંક સાથે અસરગ્રસ્ત વિસ્તારનુ નિરીક્ષણ કરવા માટે જશે.

આઈટીબીપીના જણાવ્યા મુજબ 80-100 મીટર સુધી કાટમાળને હટાવી દેવામાં આવ્યો છે. સુરંગ 2.5 કિલોમીટર લાંબી છે. હવે બીજી સુરંગમાં નવુ સર્ચ અભિયાન ચલાવવામાં આવી રહ્યુ છે.

ચમોલીના જોશીમઠમાં બીજા દિવસે પણ બચાવ અભિયાન ચાલુ છે.

જોશીમઠ ક્ષેત્રથી આગળ મલારી પાસે એક પુલ પૂરમાં તણાઈ ગયો.

ઉત્તરાખંડના ડીજીપી અશોક કુમારે કહ્યું- તપોવન બાંધમાં ફસાયેલા 16 લોકોને પોલીસે સુરક્ષિત સ્થળે મોકલ્યા.

ITBP મુજબ તપોવન ક્ષેત્ર સ્થિત એનટીપીસી સાઈટથી ત્રણ મૃદેહ મળ્યા છે.

મુખ્યમંત્રી ત્રિવેંદ્ર સિંહ રાવતે ચમોલી જિલ્લાના તપોવન ક્ષેત્રમાં સેના અને આઈટીબીપીના જવાનો દ્વારા પૂરની સ્થિતિ વિશે જાણકારી મેળવી.

ભાજપના અધ્યક્ષ જેપી નડ્ડાએ ઉત્તરાખંડના સીએમ સાથે વાત કરી અને ચમોલીમાં પૂરની સ્થિતિ વિશે જાણકારી લીધી.

ઉત્તરાખંડના મુખ્ય સચિવ ઓમ પ્રકાશે એએનઆઈને જણાવ્યું કે ચમોલી જિલ્લામાં પૂરની આશંકાઓમાં 100-150 લોકો અસરગ્રસ્ત થયા હોવાની આશંકા છે.

ગૃહમંત્રી અમિત શાહે કહ્યું કે, - એનડીઆરએફની 3 ટીમ ત્યાં પહોંચી ગઈ છે. અન્ય ટીમ દિલ્હીથી ઉત્તરાખંડ જવા માટે રવાના થવા તૈયાર છે. આઈટીબીપીના જવાન પણ છે. હું ઉત્તરાખંડના લોકોને આશ્વાસન આપું છું કે મોદી સરકાર આ અઘરા સમયમાં તેમની સાથે ઉભી છે. બધાની મદદ કરાશે.

કેન્દ્રીય રેલવે મંત્રી પીયૂષ ગોયલે કહ્યું- હું ભગવાનને પ્રાર્થના કરું છું કે બધા જ ઠીક રહે અને કોઈને પણ ઈજા ના પહોંચે.

સેનાના અધિકારીઓ મુજબ સેનાના લગભગ 600 જવાન પૂર પ્રભાવિત ક્ષેત્ર તરફ મોકલ્યા છે.

ઉત્તરાખંડના સીએમ ત્રિવેંદ્ર સિંહ રાવતે કહ્યું- મેં કેન્દ્રીય ગૃહ સચિવ સાથે વાત કરી છે અને હું જલદી જ ગૃહમંત્રી સાથે વાત કરીશ. તેમને શક્ય તમામ મદદ કરવાનું આશ્વાસન આપ્યું છે.

કેન્દ્રીય નાણામંત્રી નિર્મલા સીતારમણે કહ્યું કે- આ એક પ્રાકૃતિક આપદા છે. ગૃહમંત્રીએ આશ્વાસન આપ્યું કે ઉત્તરાખંડ સરકારની હરેક મદદ કરાશે.

આઈટીબીપીના જવાનોએ તપોવન અને રેનીના વિસ્તારમાં નુકસાનનું આંકલન કર્યું.

રાજ્ય ડિઝાસ્ટર મેનેજમેન્ટ પ્રાધિકરણના અપર મુખ્ય કાર્યકારી અધિકારી રિદ્ધમ અગ્રવાલે એક નિવેદનમાં જણાવ્યું કે સવારે પહાડ પર ભૂઃસ્ખલન થવાથી આ હાઈડ્રો પ્રોજેક્ટના દરવાજા ક્ષતિગ્રસ્ત થયા છે. પૂરના કારણે પેદા થતા ખતરાને જોતાં તપોવનથી લઈ હરિદ્વાર સુધીના તમામ જિલ્લામાં અલર્ટ જાહેર કરી દેવામાં આવ્યું છે. સાથે જ ગંગા અને તેની સહાયક નદિઓને કાંઠે રસ્તાને બંધ કરી દેવામાં આવ્યા છે. તેમણે જણાવ્યું કે ગંગા કાંઠે તમામ કેંપો ખાલી કરાવવામાં આવી રહ્યા છે.

મુખ્યમંત્રી ત્રિવેંદ્ર સિંહ રાવતે ટ્વીટ કરતા લખ્યું કે, ચમોલી જિલ્લાથી એક આપદાના સમાચાર મળ્યા છે. આ આફતથી નિપટવા માટે જિલ્લા પ્રશાસન, પોલીસ વિભાગ અને ડિઝાસ્ટર મેનેજમેન્ટને આદેશ આપી દેવામાં આવ્યા છે. કોઈપણ પ્રકારની અફવા પર ધ્યાન ના આપો. સરકાર જરૂરી પગલાં ઉઠાવી રહી છે.
