Meanwhile, recently, Suriya who has been in the industry for over two decades revealed that he does not like to watch his films as gets too critical about his work at times. "I sometimes shy away from watching my own films. There are times when I wait for 100 days to complete since the film's release, and then I watch my film," Suriya told IANS.
"But when people give a lot of love to a film, then I accept it and think that maybe they are large-hearted and let go of my flaws. Then I say, 'This is my favourite film now. I don't see the errors now'. My wife (Jyothika) and brother (Karthi) are also actors, but are not like that. They are very confident with what they do. They like their work," he said. "Sometimes I get very critical with my work. I feel like I have not given my best and I should push myself more. I am very strict with myself. I have been like this. It's been more than 20 years now. I somehow feel that I should have done better," he added.
On the work front, Suriya has Mani Ratnam’s Navarasa. He is also producing a film and is looking forward to the 40th film with Pandiraj. We pray for the dashing actor's speedy revcovery.
