Adani Enterprises has informed exchanges that wholly-owned subsidiary Adani Airport Holdings Limited (“AAHL”) has acquired 23.5% equity stake of Mumbai International Airport Limited (“MIAL”) from ACSA Global (”ACSA”) and Bid Services Division (Mauritius).
Adani Airport is the flagship holding company of Adani Group for its airports business.
As per the regulatory filing, Adani Airport acquired 28.20cr equity shares with a face value of Rs10 each of Mumbai Airport.
The transaction valued approximately Rs1685.25cr.
Mumbai International Airport is engaged in the business of development, construction and operation of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj International Airport.
At around 2.33 pm, Adani Enterprises was trading at Rs626.70 per piece up by Rs31.15 or 5.23% on Sensex.
The stock has hit a new 52-week high of Rs638.05 per piece on the index.
