Congress leader Mallikarjun Kharge has alleged that he got a threatening call soon after he had addressed a presser against Prime Minister Narendra Modi's Rajya Sabha speech on Monday.
Congress sources said that the caller was angry that the party leader was criticising the PM after his speech in Rajya Sabha. RS MP Mallikarjun Kharge had addressed a presser against PM Modi’s Rajya Sabha speech at Vijay Chowk today.
"Why are you criticizing the PM?", the caller from the other side had said, as per sources.
Kharge will not lodge a police complaint against the caller, said sources.
Earlier, PM Modi had criticised the Congress's stand of the farm laws during his speech in Rajya Sabha on Monday.
He had quoted Manmohan Singh as saying, "It is our intention to remove all those handicaps which come in the way of India realizing its vast potential as one large common market."
