Bhubaneswar: Mimansha Priyadarshini Rath, a girl from Odisha’s Sambalpur district has brought laurels for the State by winning the Opera Miss India 1st runners up title which was held virtually on 7th February. She is daughter of RK Rath, retired reader in history of Govt.women’s college, Sambalpur and Mrs. Kamini Rath. More than 200 contestants from different parts of the country participated in this event and 64 could reach the finals. She grabbed the attention of mentor of show Mr. Anuj Kulshrestha, show director Monica Kulshrestha and jury Shailaza, Vaishali, Shinjinj, Rosa and others by her magnificent fashion sense.
“Ever since I was a kid, I have been on a look out for platforms to get my voice heard. Corona pandemic came as a blessing in my life and I started participating in all pageant to show my skills and explore my dream. I was in search for such platforms that took me to the Opera Miss India Pageant. Though a different platform altogether, it is one place where you are heard irrespective of your physique or height. I kept on molding myself as a model to achieve this. I am confident and my interest has made me to search for the best and I assure I can make a positive change in fashion industry if I will be given chance in future” she explained about her dream in few words who won first runners up in Opera Miss India ,Runners up in Miss diamond queen and Miss dreams sambalpur respectively .
A multi-faceted woman wrapped into one charming personality, she is a celebrity singer, anchor, model, actor , had been the student union president of Govt.Womens’s college as well as a youtuber. She had a great vision in modeling which made her strive hard to get into it irrespective of several problems. Being a regular student it was not easy for her to learn modeling, but her dream snatched away the taboo of small town girl out of her and pandemic created a star out of her personality. She honed her skill, prepared herself for different pageants and won different titles. She had made around four to five song cover which has more than thousands of views in YouTube.
