It's always a thrilling experience to be able to witness two powerhouse performers come under one roof. In the picture, Ariana was seen posing with six out of the seven members of the BTS boy band. Ariana sat in the middle besides RM, Jimin, Jungkook, V, J-Hope and Jin. Suga, however, was missing from the photograph. “Look who i bumped into at rehearsal,” Ariana wrote on Twitter followed by a smiley emoji. Fans were left jaw-dropped to see Ariana and BTS members together. However, there were also some fans who noted Suga's absence from the group picture. Soon they trended 'WHERE IS YOONGI' on Twitter. And this was not the first time that Ariana had bumped into BTS members. Back in May 2019, Ariana had posted a picture with Jungkook who had attended her concert. “screaming. thank u soooooo much for coming to my show, Jungkook. it meant so much. love u sm,” Ariana had posted on Instagram along with a single black heart emoji.
Meanwhile, Global superstar BTS was the most mentioned K-pop artist last year, while NCT, EXO and Blackpink were next on the list. BTS' songs grabbed six spots on the list of ten most-mentioned K-pop songs, with Dynamite, ON, Black Swan and Life Goes On topping the list.
Twitter also highlighted K-pop fans' active participation in social causes last year. "The #KpopTwitter community's involvement in the #BlackLivesMatter movement gave fans another way to stay connected and express their views on broader issues in society," Twitter said in a blog post.
Last June, BTS expressed support for the movement on Twitter, and the tweet has since been retweeted nearly a million times. A BTS fan group raised over US$1 million in donations for the cause, matching a sum donated by the K-pop group.
