The first high-level dialogue between India and the European Union (EU) has agreed to increase bilateral trade. The Commerce Ministry said on Saturday that during the talks, the two sides discussed ways to promote bilateral trade and investment.
The next meeting will be held within three months. The meeting was jointly chaired by Union Minister of Commerce and Industry Piyush Goyal and EU Executive Vice President and Trade Commissioner Vladis Dombrovskis.
In a meeting held on Friday, the two ministers agreed to further deepen and strengthen bilateral trade and investment relations. For this, it was decided to organize a series of regular meetings. The goal of these meetings is to carry out quick processes for business in this difficult time due to the Corona epidemic.
