Sonu Sood pens down a note after SC allows him to withdraw plea in illegal construction case

Bollywood actor Sonu Sood recently withdrew his plea from the Supreme Court filed against the Bombay High Court order dismissing his case on alleged illegal construction at his residential building in Mumbai's Juhu area. The top court, which permitted the withdrawal of the petition, orally observed that no coercive action be taken against Mr Sood until the civic authorities decide on his application for regularisation. Now, as the actor got a sigh of relief from the Apex Court, he penned a note on social media explaining the whole situation! Captioning the post as 'Justice prevails', Sonu wrote, 'The Hon'ble Supreme Court has finally given me a breath of fresh air and time to take corrective measures. The structure was always legal, despite it being coloured otherwise. I feel vindicated since I have always had utmost and complete faith in the judiciary, and have always strived to abide by the law. My sole endeavor has been to conduct my business fairly, with all the requisite permissions and clearances as may be required in law.'
