Bhagalpur: crooks entered the crowded market in broad daylight, looted three crores of gold

Questions are being raised on the law and order situation in Bihar. Encouragement of robbers and crimes has become so high in the state that nowadays they steal gold worth crores of rupees in broad daylight. The latest case is of the smart city of Bhagalpur, where robbers have robbed gold worth three crore rupees.

According to information received from the police, the robbers stole two kilos of gold on Saturday morning at the huge Sonika Jewelers located near Khalifabag Chowk, after which the area was stirred. As soon as the news of the robbery of gold was robbed, SSP Nitasha Gudiya of Bhagalpur reached the scene.

Even before this, there have been reports of gold looting many times in the state. On December 9, 2020, near the Chowk Chowk of Nagar police station area in Darbhanga district, armed criminals robbed gold worth Rs five crore from Alankar Jewelers in broad daylight. During the robbery, the criminals were firing several rounds.

After the robbery, the Darbhanga police released a list of ten criminals from outside the district. In this case, the police have seized some of the looted gold so far and arrested some people. Apart from this, criminals have looted gold in many districts of Bihar.

Apart from Darbhanga, gold worth Rs 10 crore was looted from Muthoot Finance in Bhagwanpur Golambar of Sadar police station of Muzaffarpur. Apart from this, 55 kg gold was also looted from Hajipur Stathi Muthoot Finance.
