Chakka Jam agitation

Nashik, Feb 6 (UNI) The activiests of various sanghtana line Swabhimani shetkari sanghtana, Chhava Krantiver sena, Rastriya Muslim morcha, Kisan Sabha, Jamvadi mahila sanghtana, CPI-Mand other sanghtana were stated chakka Jam and Dharana andolan in various places in Nashik district in support of the agitation farmers in Delhi
The activities of Swabhimani Shetkari Sanghatana staged a chakka jam agitation at Tehre-Soygaon Chowfuli in Malegaon tehsil in support to the ongoing farmers' agitation in Delhi, the workers demanding changes in the anti-farmer law by the central government and stopping the recovery of compulsory electricity bills and district bank loans.

The activities was submitted a statement of demands to Deputy Tehsildar Vikas Pawar. The office bearers of Swabhimani Shetkari Sanghatana staged a Rasta Roko agitation at Tehre Soygaon Chowfuli. Demands were made to withdraw anti-farmer laws, stop forced recovery by district banks and power distribution companies, and give guarantee price to the farmers' goods. A statement of demands was submitted to Deputy Tehsildar Pawar and Police Inspector Praveen Wadile of Chhawani Police Station.

The Malegaon taluka president of swabhimani shetkari sanghtana Sanjay Jadhav, Raju Shirsath, Sukhdev Waghchaure, Mahendra Borse, Sandeep Shewale, Dada Shewale and other office bearers had participated in the agitation.
In support of the farmers' agitation in Delhi, a chakka jam agitation was organized on the Nashik-Aurangabad highway at Chandori in Niphad taluka on Saturday The workers of Kisan Sabha and Chhava Krantiveer Sena were agitated Chakka Jam agitation on Nashik-Aurangabad road at Chandori in Niphad taluka . The farmers' agitation in Delhi against the anti-farmer laws had called for a nationwide strike. Supporting this demand, Chhava Krantiveer Sena and Kisan Sabha organized a Chakka Jam agitation on Saturday.
Karan Gaikar, founder of Chhava Krantiveer Sena, and Raju Desale, state secretary of Kisan Sabha, demanded repeal of anti-farmer laws. As the agitation continued for about an hour, there were long queues of vehicles on the Nashik-Aurangabad highway. Police personnel were present at the protest site under the guidance of Ashik Adsul, Assistant Inspector of Police, Saykheda Police Station, to prevent any untoward incident during the agitation. The agitation was concluded by giving a statement to Niphad tehsildar Sharad Ghorpade.

District session judge Patil sentences life imprisonment to accused for rape on underage girl

Kolhapur, Feb 6 (UNI) District session judge (I) S R Patil today sentenced life imprisonment and fined Rs Fifty thousand to accused who had raped on underage girl for two time from which she became pregnant, which incident occured in 2016 at Nhavyachi Wadi of Upvade village in Karveer tehsil of this district.
