Chakka Jam: Police detain protesters in Delhi; Bangalore-Hyderabad highway blocked

Farmers protesting against the Centre's new agri laws and other issues blocked roads at several places in Punjab and Haryana on Saturday on the call given by the farmers' unions for a nationwide 'chakka jam'. The 'chakka jam' called by protesting farmers has been by and large peaceful. There are protests underway in Hyderabad & Bengaluru as well in support of farmers.
