My hundred deaths
Parthajit Borah *
I die for a simple reason as cow milks.
I die in front of my religion when it engrosses my deeds.
I die at the game of lost and found when tears get price.
I die everyday when my peasants go hungry in the night.
I die from my bureaucrats when they bargain my country at the yellow papers.
I die for my humanity when spotted
with lost songs of unknown God and Goddesses.
