CRPF jawan injured in militant attack in Srinagar

Srinagar, Feb 6 (UNI) A Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) jawan was injured when militants attacked a Road Opening Party (ROP) in Nowgam area in the city outskirts on Saturday afternoon, official sources said.
They said militants fired at a CRPF party at Nowgam in Srinagar outskirts Saturday afternoon. A CRPF jawan received bullet wounds in his leg, they said, adding the injured was shifted to a hospital.
Meanwhile, additional security forces and police immediately reached the spot and cordoned off the entire area. A massive search operation has been launched to nab the attackers, they said.
