Daltonganj, Feb 6 (UNI) Two bogies of a coal-laden goods train caught fire on the up track of the Garhwa Road-Son Nagar rail section of this district.
After information was received the train was stopped at Mohammedganj railway station and fire tenders from the nearby fire station reached the spot and doused the flames.
Deputy station manager of Mohammedganj railway station R K Thakur said that he was informed regarding smoke rising from the bogies number 18 and 24 of the train after which he alerted the fire brigade and senior officials of the department. He said that it took three hours to douse the flame and after necessary security checks the train was flagged off for its further destination.
