65 new COVID cases in state

The state on Saturday registered 65 new COVID-19 cases and no new deaths linked to the virus, taking the tally of active COVID cases to 769.

Around 56 patients recovered from the disease in the last
24 hours.

The confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Goa currently stand at 53,838 of which 52,299 patients have defeated the dreaded disease. Till date, 770 patients have succumbed to the disease in the state.

According to the DHS, active positive cases in the jurisdictions of urban health centres stand as follows: Margao – 95 cases, Vasco – 22 cases, Panaji – 63 cases and
Mapusa – 25 cases.

While, active positive cases in the jurisdictions of community health centres are as follows: Sankhali – 17 cases, Bicholim – 12 cases, Pernem – 11 cases, Valpoi – 13 cases, Curchorem – 45 cases and Canacona – 11 cases.

And, active positive cases in the jurisdictions of primary health centres stand as follows: Aldona – 8 cases, Betki – 8 cases, Candolim – 16 cases, Cansarvanem – 4 cases, Colvale – 8 cases, Corlim – 18 cases, Chimbel – 30 cases, Siolim – 16 cases, Porvorim – 41 cases, Mayem – 10 cases,  Balli – 9 cases, Cansaulim – 31 cases, Chinchinim – 28 cases, Cortalim – 27 cases, Curtorim – 23 cases, Loutolim – 18 cases, Marcaim – 4 cases, Quepem – 49 cases, Sanguem – 8 cases, Shiroda – 7 cases, Dharbandora – 16 cases, Ponda – 55 cases and
Navelim – 21 cases.
