Life, It is !

The tears in your eyes,
The pain in your cry,
Deep in my bones,
Felt the pain of your restless soul.
Heard your wail of despair,
Your melancholic facet,
When dawned on me,
I kept telling myself-
You'are not alone, I am not alone.
The world not aware,
The inner battle of one's soul
And I wonder,
Is this the answer to my question ,
I keep asking myself-
What is life ?
With all the hurdles and the twisted turns,
Is this what we called life?
Inside I felt a sense of warmth,
The warmth of a consoled soul,
Not that I relish your agony
Or I Jubilant at your adversity.
But now I reckoned -
Life has never been fair.
I am not alone, you are not alone
In this journey called life.
