Dalmia Bharat reported 18.16% growth in total revenues for the Dec-20 quarter on consolidated basis at Rs2,857cr. The sales volume of cement increased by an impressive 14% yoy as the company managed to commercialize its clinker 3 MT line in Odisha. The total cement capacity stood at 28.5 MT on an overall installed basis.
The consolidated Profit after tax (PAT) for the Dec-20 quarter was up 603% at Rs183cr. EBITDA increased during the quarter by 51% while the cement EBITDA margin improved during the quarter from 19% to 25%. As a result, the PAT margins improved very marginally from 22.93% in Dec-19 to 23.07% in Dec-20.
