
Gyalshing, 5 February, 2021(IPR): The Chief Minister of Sikkim, Shri Prem Singh Tamang (Golay) on the occasion of his birthday, visited the Holy Khechuperi Lake, Tashi Chyoling Gumpa and Shri Jaleshwar Mahadev Mandir, within the vicinity, in West Sikkim, today.
The Chief Minister was also accompanied by Deputy Speaker/SLA, Shri Sangay Lepcha; Minister/ PHE Department, Shri Bhim Hang Limboo; Chairman/Transport Department, Shri Basant Kumar Tamang, DC/West Shri Karma R.Bonpo, Officials and others.

He expressed his heartfelt gratitude towards his parents and the family members for being the pillar of strength and support. He added that they have immensely contributed in shaping the person, he is today.
He dedicated the day to the people of Sikkim, and expressed his delight to be among the people of Yuksam-Tashiding.He humbly accepted and thanked everyone for all the good wishes and their blessings.
On the occasion, blankets and other gifts were distributed to the people. The Chief Minister stated that he will provide every assistance for the development of the area including roads and other infrastructures.
He urged the people to contribute and help the poor and needy in their area stating that it will be the biggest gift for him on this day.
On his way back to the capital, the Chief Minister also visited the Sidkeong Bird Park at Rabdentse.
