The Rajasthan government had established Sardar Patel Police Security and Criminal Justice University in Jodhpur for intensive research and research in the field of police service and security systems.
Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot said this while addressing the Foundation Day function of Sardar Patel Police, Security, and Criminal Justice University, Jodhpur from Raj Bhavan. Ashok Gehlot, who was present as the chief guest at the program, said that this university should play an important role in the challenges faced by law and order and specialize in subjects like internal security.
He said that the importance of such universities increases to gain strength in various aspects related to security including rapidly changing circumstances in the world, cybercrimes.
The state government has recently written a letter to the Union Home Ministry offering a partnership between the National Forensic Science University and the Sardar Patel Police University. Through this, Forensic Science Institute will be established in Jodhpur, which will create forensic experts and police investigation will be done in a scientific manner.
