Unlike a lot of B-town celebrities who believe in social media display of affection and sharing coordinated posts and Instagram stories, star couple Arjun Kapoor and Malaika Arora rarely post the same photos on their respective social media handles.
However, on Wednesday for a change, the duo put up the same photo on their Instagram Stories trying to send out a message but with different captions.
Taking to their respective Instagram handles, the couple shared a now-viral photo that surfaced on the internet on February 1.
In the image, a commuter can be seen bowing down and worshipping the Mumbai local train before entering it on Monday. The heartfelt photo, when it surfaced on the web, got not just the netizens emotional but also Malaika and Arjun thinking about the privileges they enjoy.
For the unversed, after a gap of 11 months, Mumbai's local trains were opened to the public on February 1. Known as the lifeline of the city, the Mumbai locals were earlier only restricted to essential staff and women due to the Covid-19 pandemic.
Meanwhile, the viral photo clicked by Saamna's Sachin Vaidya, struck a chord with Arjun and Malaika.
Sharing the image of his Instagram stories, Arjun wrote alongside it, "Whenever u feel things aren't going well take a moment to perhaps absorb the fact that a lot of us are privileged & blessed to deal with these last few months without having to worry about how to get to work even after things opened up."
Malaika shared the same image and wrote, "This one hit me hard.. I feel ya brother #Checkyourprivilege."
For the unversed, Malaika and Arjun made their relationship official in 2019 when the duo took a trip together to the US on the occasion of the latter's birthday.
Back then, Malaika had shared an adorable picture of with Arjun on her Instagram page. She wrote alongside, "Happy bday my crazy, insanely funny n amazing @arjunkapoor ... love n happiness always".
