An elderly couple was killed by unidentified miscreants on Thursday night in the house of Alpha Two sector located in the Beta Two police station area. After the incident, the miscreants looted the house fearlessly. On knowing about the incident, Police Commissioner Alok Singh Additional Police Commissioner Law and Order Luv Kumar, DCP Greater Noida Zone Rajesh Kumar Singh, FSL team, and other police officers reached the spot and got involved in the investigation.
Narendra Nath 72 and his wife Suman Nath 64 were social workers living in the Alpha Two sector. Suman Nath used to give free yoga training, the same Narendra Nath often helped the helpless people. The couple's son and daughter living in Sarita Vihar, who was in the WHO society, phoned her mobile on Friday morning. Due to this, the family reached the couple's house in Alpha Two, as soon as they entered the house, they came to know about the whole incident.
On the information of the family, the top police officers reached the spot and started investigating. The doors of all the shelves of the couple's house were opened and items were found scattered. The house was completely rinsed. Due to which it is feared that the miscreant has looted the house fiercely after killing.
Miscreants drank liquor, feasted on party
The body of woman Suman Nath was found in the room. At the same time, there was no trace of Narendra Nath for a long time. Due to this, the family and the police started looking for him in the house and sector. After a long time, the body of Narendra Nath was found in a store in the basement. Narendra Nath had tape on his mouth and his hands were tied behind. Traces of injuries have been reported on his body, which suggests that he has been beaten to death. A bottle of precious liquor and about 6 glasses were kept on the table in the basement itself. Apart from this, food and drink were also kept. It is feared that the miscreants have drunk the feast by drinking liquor before and after the incident.
CCTV cameras were not nearby in the house
CCTV was not installed in the Greater Noida couple's house, but CCTVs are installed in nearby houses and streets. The police are investigating these CCTVs and trying to find clues of the miscreants.
Fear of assault on acquaintance: DCP
DCP Greater Noida Rajesh Kumar Singh says that an acquaintance is involved in the crime. Woman Suman Nath called her daughter at 10:50 and informed her about the liquor party. It is feared that Narendra had called his acquaintance to his house. The acquaintance and his associates are suspected of the crime. However, some people are also talking about giving money on interest.
