Letter: Kudos to the Salt Lake VA Hospital

I am a Vietnam Veteran, now age 71, and in fairly good shape. The Salt Lake City VA Medical Center provides my medical care. Over more than a dozen years, I have received simply astounding care from this center. Never once have I had a complaint. The key is to learn the ropes and don’t make unreasonable demands. Two weeks ago, I received my COVID-19 vaccination. They called me to set up the appointment. Easy Peasy.

So, I want to thank the VA and all their volunteers, men and women, for making this veteran feel pretty special. At the end of the day, they are the ones special in my eyes.
