COVID-19 cases force round two of AFLW to be recast
The AFL has been forced to change three round-two matches in the AFLW thanks to border restrictions due to positive COVID-19 cases.
The fixture has been upended, with the two Western Australian teams, Fremantle and West Coast, still uncertain when they will play next.

In the revamp, Collingwood will play Geelong at Victoria Park on Saturday afternoon with Gold Coast and Brisbane to play each other in Queensland on Sunday so the teams do not have to travel interstate.
Adelaide have flown to Sydney to play the Giants after both clubs were forced to quarantine following their matches in Perth last week because of a positive COVID-19 diagnosis in Western Australia.
The match between the Crows and the Giants will be played at Blacktown without a crowd with the NSW government allowing Adelaide to fly to the state on Thursday and continue their quarantine period.
The sold out Pride match between the Western Bulldogs and Carlton will still be played at Whitten Oval on Friday night while Melbourne will play Richmond on Saturday afternoon at Casey Fields as scheduled.
The other unchanged match is North Melbourne v St Kilda at Arden Street on Sunday, while West Coast and Fremantle remain uncertain as to whether they will play each other as Western Australia remains in lockdown until Friday evening.
AFL head of women’s football Nicole Livingstone said the league would continue to adapt to changing circumstances as the season unfolded.
